Thriving Bravely is all about feeling better; if you are living with depression or anxiety, you’ve come to the right place. Thriving Bravely has been designed for you, with one main purpose: to offer hope and support so you can build forward momentum and shift into a sense of thriving. In whatever way that means for you.

It takes bravery to keep pushing forward when depression and anxiety weigh you down and you don’t feel like…yourself…or like doing anything at all. When we are thriving bravely, we are acknowledging our depression while taking (sometimes small) actions to put ourselves back in the driver’s seat. Depression and anxiety do not have to control your life.

We can shift the balance so that we can feel depressed and find islands of contentment and happiness. Over time, we can build bridges across these islands.

Challenging? You bet. Impossible? Absolutely not. And I will be walking by your side.

I’m so glad you are here. Although I am delighted to meet you, I’m sorry that this means you have been struggling – perhaps a little, perhaps a lot.

While there are resources out there that can be useful for those of us who live with depression and anxiety, they tend to focus on getting over our difficulties with behavioral suggestions, clichés, and overworn advice. Not so helpful.

So I made Thriving Bravely, to provide real, authentic help with a different approach: living well must coexist with depression and anxiety, because honestly there are no instant fixes. In this space you will find what does work. You will encounter support, insights, validation, and encouragement in a framework that acknowledges your struggles AND offers ways for you to be more you, more content, and more empowered – even in the face of very difficult times.

Wherever you are now, I will be with you, as your guide and fellow traveler. Welcome to the place where you will feel heard and understood while we dive deep into what it means to thrive.
